NDS Root Barrier Panels — 24" x 24" (EP-2450) — Pack of 20

A modular panel system that redirects tree and shrub roots downward, protecting sidewalks, curbs, pavers, slabs, utilities, and planter edges. Interlocking panels form a continuous vertical, non-degradable barrier with molded ribs that steer roots deeper into the soil profile. Roots still grow strong — but down and away from pavements and foundations, helping prevent heave, trip hazards, and costly repairs.

Installation

1. Plan the run: mark utilities; determine barrier height and linear footage.
2. Excavate: open a narrow trench to the required depth; keep sidewalls plumb.
3. Assemble: interlock panels; add corners where the layout turns; anchor as specified.
4. Set & backfill: place panels with ribs toward the roots; backfill in lifts and compact lightly to avoid voids.
5. Finish grade: keep the top edge just below finish grade to maintain a clean, hidden line.
